Ludy, Brazilian Kimi's fan!If

The first time I read this poem it was because Evenstar Saima posted in her website, years ago (2008 if I am not mistaken). And the reason I have chosen it as part of my contribution for Kimi’s Day it’s because the words above are perfect to describe such a great person and amazing driver Kimi is.
For those who are not Kimi fans it’s really hard to see what we see. A guy who loves racing, enjoys his life, friends, family and of course, his passion for speed, with no strings attached. Kimi is a free spirit and if you are not able to understand that you will never know who he is, entirely.
So, that’s why I have chosen the poem above. Every word of it describes a bit of Kimi’s strength, talent, loyalty and humility. During his years in F1 he showed everybody he was a fighter, he never gave up anything, he never blamed anyone for his mistakes, he was loyal until the end, even with those people who treated him so badly. That’s why we, his fans, admire him so much.
For me it’s easy to write about Kimi and the impact he has in my life. Since 2005 I have been following his career and every single moment I have spent dedicating my support was worth it. During these years I have been so blessed, he gave me so much happiness, friends, I’ve learned so much by being his fan. I only have reasons to thank him.
Since 2006 I watched all his races here in Brazil. I was there at Interlagos when he finally became World Champion. It was so emotional, simply unforgettable! Last year I had the chance to go to the Shell Press Conference (pictures here:

That’s why I feel so happy when I see other Kimi fan having this same opportunity!! Plus, I watched his last race in Brazil as a Ferrari driver at Interlagos, the place where he conquered the most important victory of his career. So, by being a Kimi fan I only have reasons to say I had all the best things I could have.
But I would like to say something more. If I could choose three special moments to define who Kimi Räikkönen really is I would say: Suzuka 2005, Spa 2008 and his switch to the WRC in 2010. Why? Because in races like Suzuka and Spa, Räikkönen showed to the whole world how talented he is in a F1 car. He won in 2005 and lost in 2008 but in both races he was great, he never gave up, he was there for the fun of it, for the passion, winning or losing, he was fighting. And regarding his switch to the WRC series, well, this shows he’s not afraid to challenge himself even in a place where he knows he has to learn everything from the beginning. This shows humility! And he’s learning fast! This is the Iceman! That’s why he makes us so proud!
Well guys, I could stay here writing pages and more pages about Kimi (lol…), but it’s time to go! So, before leaving I would like to congratulate Fede and his amazing group for Kimi’s Day. You guys rocked and I am pretty sure all Kimi fans loved it! That’s another thing the Iceman gave us, the amazing opportunity to have friends from all over the world. We are from different countries, cultures, beliefs, but we all have the same reason to stay together: Kimi Räikkönen!
