| Red Bull tried three different rear wings on Friday in Bahrain. Webber had the high-downforce one raced at the last round in China by Sebastian Vettel (main drawing), while Vettel tried a low-downforce configuration in the morning (lower inset) before switching to a new design (upper inset) with straight horizontal gills on the endplates in the afternoon. This was subsequently used by both drivers in qualifying and the race.
